Registration Acceptance ConditionsAdmission is based on a special talent exam. To be eligible for the exam, applicants must have graduated from high school or an equivalent institution and meet the required score as indicated in the Higher Education Entrance Examination guide.
Recognition of Prior LearningStudents studying at Namık Kemal University in Tekirdağ may be exempt from certain courses based on specific regulations. If the content of a course taken at another institution is deemed equivalent to the course offered at TNKU and approved by the relevant faculty/school directorate, the student may be exempt from that course.
Degree Requirements and Rules The students studying in this undergraduate program are required to have a Cumulative Grade Points Average (Cum.GPA) of not less than 2.00/4.00 and have completed all the courses with at least a letter grade of DD/S in the program in order to graduate. The minimum number of ECTS credits required for graduation is 240. It is also mandatory for the students to complete their compulsory internship in a specified duration and quality.
Program ProfileThe Sports Management Bachelor’s program is an undergraduate program that offers high-level education and research opportunities. It aims to provide scientific knowledge and skills required for professional practice in the field of sports management.
Occupational Profiles of GraduatesGraduates of this program are awarded the title of "Sports Manager." Graduates can work as sports experts, sports managers, leaders, or intermediate staff in organizations such as the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey, the General Directorate of Sports, sports federations, sports clubs, and schools.
Access To Upper DegreeCandidates who successfully complete the undergraduate program may continue their education in graduate (master’s, doctoral) programs, provided they achieve a passing score in the ALES exam and possess adequate English language proficiency.
Exams, Assessment and Grading

Students are required to take at least one midterm exam. In addition to the midterm exams, projects and assignments with specified deadlines will be assigned at the beginning of the semester. At the end of each semester, students must take a final exam. The content of the course, requirements (midterm exams, projects, assignments, and final exam), and the contribution of the final grade are specified on the course website. The student regulations and the dates for the semester-end exams are determined by the university, and the final exams are conducted as announced. Students are graded based on their results from the midterm exams, projects, assignments, and the semester-end exams.

At Namık Kemal University, the passing grade is 60 out of 100. However, the semester-end or resit exam grade must be at least 50. Exams are graded on a scale of 100. The final grade for a course is the sum of 30% of the midterm exam score and 70% of the semester-end or resit exam score. However, the calculation of the semester-end exam score may be determined and announced by the Faculty/School Board at the beginning of the semester, with the midterm contributing 30%-50% and the semester-end or resit exam contributing 50%-70%. As long as the semester-end exam score contributes to the total grade on a 100-point scale, students can pass.

In the calculation, if the decimal value is less than five, the grade will be rounded down; if it is more than five, the grade will be rounded up.
